Yeah... I haven't updated in forever. Things got busy with my friends wedding and what not.
I'll be starting up this blog in a few days. I'm currently playing with one of the original Tamagotchi's. Once I have some more pictures and my Tamagotchi grows a bit I'll post an update. ^_^
Not that anyone has really looked here much yet. T_T

Welcome and Introduction
So, hello. Welcome to my blog. I'm aurons_girl and I'm 26 years old.
I have created this blog to talk about Tamagotchis. I've been a fan of them since I was a kid. And I have a goal. I'm going to keep my new Tamagotchi Color running for a year. Or well... almost a year. I have a few things coming up that will require me to pause it. But yes. I'm going to blog about it. I also have some other Tamagotchis I'll start up from time to time.
I remember the first time I saw a Tamagotchi. I was about 12 years old when they came out. I wasn't interested in them at first. That is until a girl in my Girl Scout troop brought one with her. She didn't like it that much and she was passing it around the group. I knew then I had to have one.
And of course; that was after they became really popular. I would force my mom to take me around to every store to try and find one. Of course there were none to be had.
Then, one day after coming home from a shopping trip I discovered I had a message on my answering machine (this was before everyone had cell phones). It was my friend telling me that Wal-Mart had some. I ran to my mom and told her we had to get to Wal-Mart right away. She refused to take me because she was making dinner.
Let's just say that was the fastest dinner I ever ate. I was terrified that they would be out by the time we got up to the store. I was so close to finally getting a Tamagotchi and my chance was quickly fading away.
Luckily when we got to Wal-Mart they still had some left. But, there was a family with 5 kids fighting over the Tamagotchis. And well... There weren't that many left. They were being real picky about which ones they wanted and when they were distracted and fighting with each other I just reached my hand in and grabbed a random box. I was so desperate for one that I was happy with whatever one I got. I pulled out a plain white one with black buttons.
I got my Tamagotchi home and was addicted. That summer I collected a few other virtual pets. I got the Giga Pets and of course some of the cheap knock off tamagotchis (I still have this really cute one with a chicken on it), but I didn't like them as much as I liked the Tamagotchi.
I remember the time I was going to the Orthodontist and I had my Tamagotchi on my bathroom counter while I was brushing my teeth. I bumped it and the Tamagotchi fell into the sink. Right into the water. I watched as my poor little pet slowly disappeared off the screen. I was devastated. I thought I broke it.
Luckily, the next day it started working again. I was just sitting around watching T.V when I heard the Tamagotchi beeping. It was working again! There is a permanent water mark in the middle of the screen, but that's no big deal.
Although sadly; when the batteries died I couldn't get the one screw out. It kind of got rusted in place. My father had to drill a hole to get the screw out.
I still have my first Tamagotchi. It's sitting here on my desk and it needs batteries. One of these days I'll start it up again.
Over the years I bought a few other Tamagotchis. I bought a ton when the local Toys 'R Us was going out of business. They were like $5 a piece.
For awhile I forgot about them. Then one day I was bored and was looking around at Tamagotchi's online. I discovered all of the fun Japanese ones. I quickly got myself a Morino, Devilgotchi, Osuchi and Mesuchi, and an Ocean Tamagotchi.
I was so excited when they brought out the Connection, but nothing beats the original ones.
Just the other day my Tamagotchi color came in the mail. I have ordered all of my Tamagotchis off of this one ebay seller. He's great. ^_^
But anyway... In the next day or so I'm going to be taking some pictures of my Color. I'll also take pictures of my other Tamagotchis. I have them on pause during the week because of work. Right now I have my Angel and my Morino on pause. I'll start them up again Sunday.
Right now my angel is 6 years old and I got the best character you can get on the Angel. I was surprised. This was the first time I've had a Tamagotchi going in 2 years.
My Morino is 4 years old and I'm waiting for it to turn into a cacoon. I know I'm not doing to good with it. It has fallen asleep hungry and sleeping in poop.
If anyone wants me to do a certain Tamagotchi let me know. I just bought plenty of batteries.
I think after my Angel dies I'm going to try my luck with my Ocean. They are the hardest to take care of. I gave up after 2 days.
I also want to start up my Devilgotchi but the screw is stripped. I have to get my father to try and get it out for me without doing any damage to my Devilgotchi.
I really want a Santagotchi. I found 2 on Ebay the other day but both are out of my price range. They are nearly $200. Oh well... I doubt I'll ever get one.
